For those of you trying to decide if you are coming to the Renaissance Spirit conference, think no more and just come! Do you long to co-create with God? Are you hungry to get activated into your next installment of His glorious love? The Renaissance Spirit event is no longer just a conference; it is taking on a life of its own to become an experience that will brand you with the new wineskin. It is going to be an amazing time of discussion about how the creative spirit (music, arts, science, creativity) is beginning to forerun different aspects of Kingdom culture throughout ALL society. We will also have deep worship where you can be totally abandoned. We have changed the schedule to maximize our time together. What have we added?
AFTERNOON PANELS ON CO-CREATING WITH GOD
The afternoon sessions will be panels where all the speakers and worship leaders discuss how to co-create with God.
CONCERTS NIGHTLY AFTER THE 7PM SESSIONS
We are also going to have a concert every night after the 7pm session! Enjoy over an hour and a half concert with Kim Walker, JoAnn McFatter, and John Mark McMillan as they take us deeper into a musical experience with their own experimental music! And, of course, we will have five other sessions full of anointed worship!

HOTEL INFORMATION
We have rooms reserved at the Wilshire Plaza Hotel until Sept. 10th for $99 per night plus tax and fees ($113 is the total per night.) Please call (213) 381-7411 from 9:30am - 5:30pm PDT and ask for the Expression58 group rate. The hotel is located at 3515 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, 90010, and it is 2.3 miles from the conference location. If you are going to make your own arrangements, please keep in mind that hotels near the conference center sell out quickly and even a few miles can take a long time in LA traffic.

JENNIFER AND JONATAN TOLEDO HAVE FAMILY NEWS!
Jonatan and Jennifer Toledo are expecting another baby! That’s right; they are pregnant with a little Californian! We are so excited to welcome this precious baby into the family.
JESSE AND JOANNA GRIM JOINING US!
Jesse and Joanna have worked alongside Shawn for many years, and it’s exciting to have them finally move out to California to join the work. Jesse will be working as an assistant pastor in charge of communications. Joanna will be helping to lead our Creative Arts Department. They both lead worship, and Joanna also pioneers dance and designs the décor that sets the atmosphere for many of our meetings. We are so glad to have them.
LOVE REVOLUTION MAGAZINE BEING RELAUNCHED!
Our Love Revolution E Magazine has been such an awesome project for our team to work on and your feedback has been amazing. We have now identified how to rework it into an even more effective tool for our readers. We have many well-known and unknown people who have agreed to contribute to the magazine, which will make it a real tool that speaks to this cultural revolution of love.
EXPRESSION58 MISSIONS INTERNSHIP STARTING!
Next month, we will be starting our Expression58 missions internship. For the first three months of the internship, our team will be loving on and discipling a group of young adults coming from all over the world who are gripped with God’s heart for the nations. We are so excited to receive them in this season and know that they will be instrumental to our launching.
NEW MATERIALS IN THE WORKS
Shawn Bolz is working on The Renaissance Spirit book, which will feature a foreword by Bill Johnson. He is also finishing the editing process on his book, The Unreligious Guide to Dating and Being Single. Written for adults, it is an over the top fun but informative dating book that will help people set their own standards and boundaries for pursuing relationships or singleness.
Jennifer Toledo just finished a manual for teaching families how to hear God together. We will have it available on the website next month! She is also working on a book on social transformation.
There will also be many new teaching CDs/DVDs, music CDs, and books on the website. We want to provide a wide selection of the most useful tools to help you grow in His love and power.
THE SEEDBED INITIATIVE
LAUNCHING THE EXPRESSION58 CHURCH
Our main project for 2007 is to launch a church community in Los Angeles, and we are so excited to be starting in October! Right now, we are working towards raising the money for our new lease on two separate buildings for weekly meetings. Our Sunday family service will be in West Los Angeles, and our mid-week service will be in the Hollywood/Studio City area.
We are calling for you, our friends and co-laborers in Christ, to sow into this fertile seedbed of start-up in Los Angeles! Because we have just moved out here and because it is one of the most expensive areas in the nation, we are asking for you to join with us in building a church! This is a third world nation in the Spirit; the people of southern California may be some of the richest in the world in the natural, but they are some of the poorest in the Spirit.
We are raising support for our first year of operational expenses. This will be roughly $12,000 a month for building rentals, parking lots, sound equipment, and other start-up equipment. Would you consider sowing a generous one time gift towards God’s purpose in Expression58? Would you consider investing into one of God’s many efforts towards pastoring the entertainment industry and working with Children At Risk, both in America and internationally monthly?

We also receive equipment donations. We are in the process of applying for our 501(c)(3) status and anticipate having it by the end of the year.
