We’ll go deep and get the real, personal story behind their experience. We’ll take the audience live on location, to the very epicenters of God encounters, bringing the supernatural experiences to living rooms everywhere. With a conversational, engaging style, we’ll strip away religiosity and lead our guests to deliver the genuine honesty of their spiritual stories. We’ll expand the audience, attracting all comers by the variety of our guests. . . entertainers, politicians, mothers, teachers, children, gold miners, artists, doctors, fathers. . . from the exotic to the mundane, whoever has an engaging story to tell about experiencing God.!
Concept
The Shawn and Paula show is an hour-long talk show that introduces viewers to some of the most fascinating people in this generation. The Shawn and Paula show will deliver a clear, honest picture of the guest’s spiritual journey, and just as a picture is worth a thousand words, this personal glimpse into another’s spiritual life will be worth a thousand sermons or self-help books.
Shawn and Paula’s ‘relate-ability’ to guests, along with their own TV chemistry will translate a decent interview into an engaging, fascinating conversation. A light-hearted look at deeply powerful stories will inspire both the seeker and the mature believer.
The Christian and Family Industry Is Changing
An unprecedented transition in the Christian media audience is the impetus for The Shawn and Paula Show. People are hungering to hear that God is moving in real and tangible ways on the earth. They want to know that angels exist, that people are visiting heaven, that heaven is invading earth in the very places where men live. Talking Our Way Into A Great Show Like all great conversations, The Shawn and Paula Show will be lively, spontaneous and greatly varied. Three basic segments will each serve to compliment the overall conversation. I. Shawn and Paula Time The opening segment of every show will feature a meaningful and entertaining spontaneous dialogue between Shawn and Paula. For up to 15 minutes Shawn and Paula will establish a bond with their viewers as they share from their own experiences and journeys, discussing the real life walk with God. Their witty banter and enthusiasm for each other will hook the audience and prepare them to receive the guests in a like manner. II. Guest Spot A conversation with our guest in which his/her spiritual journey is brought to the forefront through engaging dialogue with Shawn and Paula. Each guest spot will invite the viewers on an emotional journey as they identify with the powerful real life stories each guest brings.
III. Musical Guest
Often, a musician or group will be invited to share the God-experiences that inspired their music and give the audience a taste of their creative work.
IV. On Location Interviews Some locations and guests just won’t work on tape. When we need to take the viewer to a conference, to a concert or just to a guest’s house Shawn and Paula will go on location. Whether it’s the thrill of the crowd or simply the power of the place, the audience will be along for the ride to experience the story where it happens, and sometimes while it happens.
