THE MOVE
We all finally are on our move to California! Our whole team will be arriving from May 14-June 1st. We will not be setting up any public meetings yet until September when we launch our internships and our first event, followed by weekly meetings! Please pray that we find the exact space to office and run our product department. It is such a challenge to be in the right place, but we know God is going to show us the right one in Culver City!

As well as artists, models, actors, producers, etc. This is going to be an exciting read!

Expression58 FLI Internship: Foundational Leadership Internship - bringing young people into a deliberate supernatural lifestyle
The Vision
Expression58 FLI Internship was first birthed in 2003 when Shawn Bolz was in Canada at a conference. He saw a young man leading on the worship team and he knew the desperation in this young adults heart to be one who brings the kingdom of heaven upon the earth. He also could see the deep heart of devotion and intimacy he had. As this young mans heart and spirit were revealed to Shawn, the Lord spoke to Him and said "You are looking at one of my champions. I am sending him to you for a season so that he can learn to lead a deliberate and supernatural lifestyle."

From that day on Shawn's eyes opened to many young adults who were already touched with the hand of the Lord but needed to be spiritually challenged to engage fully in who God is and who they are in Him.

All throughout the world we put our young in seminar style class rooms and teach them how to do the kingdom. Sometimes these schools even challenge them to engage in kingdom activities. Many times, though, when a student graduates they end up not knowing how to make the next step in their calling or in their relationship with God. They know enough to want to go wholeheartedly into their future, but they don't have enough of a grasp on what the next steps are, nor do they have a complete grasp on how to get to the destination of destiny.

FLI internship is a next step internship for those young people who have pursued leadership training in the past but need to be in a revelatory environment where the realities of their future, identity, and calling can be galvanized into their spirit. This will happen both through the atmosphere of a presence seeking people, as well as through a deliberate and purposed focus of leaders towards their lives.

Our internships emphasize a do and teach approach with impartation allowing everyone to practice with the goal of learning oneself as well as how to be a part of a community and team. Everything we do and learn has to be carried out with a heart that understands that we have to engage God on His terms to find our identity. In FLI Internship You will:

Do the Stuff: During the internship you will lead in outreaches, prophecy, pray for healing,
lead in your own specific skill types, you will do the stuff!

Learn How to Make Life a Prophetic Journey of Faith

Learn Ultimate Teachability

Get the Lord's heart for the poor

Learn and then minister on Prophetic and Healing Teams

Isaiah 58 - loose the chains, set the oppressed free, break every yoke
God is searching the earth looking for friends who carry his heart of compassion for a lost and dying world. It has never been more vital that a company of people be raised up to partner with heaven, establishing the Kingdom of God on earth. In a time when injustice and poverty are plaguing the globe, God is raising up warriors of love who will carry mercy and justice to the poor.

Modern day martyrs, laid down lovers, surrendered to his cause. May our cry be “Here I am Lord, send me!

The Isaiah 58 Internship
An intensive training program designed for individuals who feel called to the poor, children, and/or the nations. The program will offer a variety of courses and hands on experiences to help prepare you for living an Isaiah 58 lifestyle. The internship is an advanced leadership track designed to help equip you spiritually, emotionally, physically, and practically for a life of mercy and justice

Phase 1: September - December
Phase one of the internship will run hand in hand with the Expression58 Intro to Leadership Track. This is an intensive leadership/ministry training course. Phase one is a combination of classroom learning and hands on training. You will be given opportunities to minister cross culturally in the community, reach out to children, grow in your personal relationship with the Lord, grow in your ministry ability, and be wrecked by the heart of God for the poor, the nations, and children.

Where? West Los Angeles (exact location to be announced)

Phase 2: January -April
Phase two of the internship is an intensive hands on learning track based in the heart of Africa. Interns will spend three months traveling and ministering in some of the following countries: Ecuador, Guatemala, Kenya, Uganda, Sudan, and Rwanda. Students will have a variety of opportunities to reach out to orphans, street children, unreached tribes, war victims, refugees, pastors, widows, and community leaders.

The heart is to walk together into the suffering of the poorest of the poor and to contend for the kingdom of God there. Students will have a life-changing experience as they step into greater union with Christ and walk out the gospel of peace.

Where? For Kenya and Africa: Students will base out of the Hope For The Nations Guest Home in Kitale, Kenya.

For Ecuador and South America: Students will be hosted by members of local churches

How much? Costs coming soon. Cost includes all flights, visas, ground transportation, food, and housing. (Note: students will have the opportunity to raise a portion of this during phase one)

I have just personally got back from England and it was an amazing trip! One of our dear friends there works in a company that has such amazing kingdom values that they have been bringing a measure of transformation to their whole city. God gave them a large key in the natural that looks like a gate key. Its authentic, and when He gave them the key He also gave them Isaiah 22:22 and released with it the Spirit of Breakthrough. When they received this, everything changed in the business, ministry, and even their region seemed to be affected. It was symbolic in the natural but God was releasing a season of especially financial breakthrough. They felt we were to carry the key to Los Angeles to release this breakthrough for finances for the kingdom as well as the unlocking of buildings and other purposes. I believe its representive of many ministries in Los Angeles that are going to begin to experience the financial break through that they need. We are going to keep it their until God tells us to give it back to them, so they can impart it to someone else. I am so excited that He would take a key from such a spiritually thriving and successful group and have us carry it as an impartation. He is really sowing into America and into Los Angeles into so many regions, and we are blessed to be such a part of it, if even in our small way. So may God release the key of breakthrough to you!
