Resources for those walking through divorce:
DIVORCE CARE
A faith-based organization that primarily offers support groups for people recovering from divorce. The groups are in person or online and run for 13 weeks.
LAKE AVE CHURCH DIVORCE SUPPORT GROUP
If you are suffering the loss of a relationship caused by divorce or separation, you may find the Divorce Recovery Support Group a safe place to work through your grief and heal from issues in your past.
This support group will help you during this transition, help you get back on your feet, and give you the tools to make better choices in your future relationships.
How to Help a Child Through a Divorce
Children can experience short- and long-term negative consequences when their parents divorce. They are still growing and maturing, so every aspect of their lives, from school life to sleeping, tends to be affected.
