Reach Up Reach Out (RURO) is one of our Justice Partners.
And in Year 7, GOD has given RURO the word MORE.
More of GOD in us, more like Christ, not anyone else. Bringing MORE help. Reaching MORE people with the gospel. Feeding MORE people. Serving MORE orphans and widows. MORE of His Spirit. MORE of His healing power and miracles. MORE joy, peace, hope and love. MORE grace and wisdom to navigate life’s seasons. MORE dreams, capacity, clarity, and understanding. MORE resources to do all that we are called and positioned to do. MORE of all that we need.
So JOIN US Saturday, May 21st in Lake View Terrace, from 12-4 pm as we celebrate what God has done and will do.
What to Expect at the Event:
Delicious Food – We will have several varieties of food trucks and cuisines on-site and available for purchase.
Community and Connection – Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and find the perfect spot for the day’s events, including bouncing castles for kids, a DJ and live music, giveaways, and so much MORE! Join the festivities Saturday, May 21st from 12 noon to 4 pm.
An Opportunity to Be Generous – In April and May, we are asking everyone to give a financial gift towards one of more of RURO’s initiatives, be it our Food Around the World initiative, our RURO Sisterhood or Child Education Sponsorship programs, or our upcoming plans for The Healed Ones Home (a children’s cancer residential care center) in Mbale, Uganda. This home will be built in the birthplace of RURO Founders’ son Caleb the Healed One and will provide healing, hope, and round-the-clock care for countless vulnerable children battling various forms of cancer and unable to get treatment due to a lack of resources. Your generosity will give them not only hope but a future. In the same way that many have rallied around the Jones-Moreno family in Caleb’s 3-year fight against stage 4 bone cancer, we are inviting you to do the same for these precious children. We expect and believe for miracles!
