The Healed Ones 5K

The Healed Ones 5K is more than a race or fundraiser for RURO’s Founders, Alex, and Shunna Jones-Moreno. The Healed Ones 5K continues to celebrate the miraculous healing of their 14-year-old son Caleb, The Healed One, after a long, hard four-year battle with Stage 4 bone cancer.

 

Since last year’s race, Caleb has had to battle two more tumors on his lungs through surgery and the removal of his right lung’s lower lobe. Throughout this battle, the Jones-Morenos have seen the hand and work of God and continue to confess that Caleb IS the Healed One. Because of people’s prayers and generosity and Caleb’s constant gratitude and joy, we believe he will remain healed and whole!

So we are calling all runners, walkers, bikers, and crawlers! Everyone and anyone can participate and make a difference in the healing journey of children battling cancer!
