Gratitude isn’t just a suggestion—it’s a biblical command.
The Bible has so much to say about being thankful and giving thanks. Take a look at Colossians 3:15-17 (NIV). You’ll find language like:“Be thankful,” “Sing to God with gratitude,” “Whatever you do—do it with giving thanks.” These aren’t just suggestions; they’re instructions.
And then there’s 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV): “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude isn’t optional—it’s central to living out God’s will.

GRATITUDE JOURNAL
Take a moment to reflect on how God has moved in your life. Here are a few things to consider:
• The people who have blessed your life
• Opportunities that have opened for you
• Areas where you’ve experienced growth
• The ways God is working in your relationships
• Favor and blessings you’ve experienced at work
Write down each blessing, allowing gratitude to fill your heart. Spend time in prayer, thanking God for
His faithfulness and provision.
Then, gently bring your focus to the challenges you’re facing today. Present them to God, trusting that the same faithful God who has guided you this far will continue to walk with you through this season.
